| life is a time where much is learned. and i have learned that this macbook pro is the bombdigety.
i am in love and i am truly enjoying this gloriousness like no other...
and how else should i break in a new life machine? why bring it to starbucks, get a venti mocha frapuchinno and chill...yes life is good and i have learned a lot

| tonight has been a good night. so far this session of house sitting hasn't been all that i thought it was going to be. i was hoping to get a lot of stuff accomplished and not really feel lonely or anything, but for this past week or so, a vast sense of loneliness has overcome me. not the most fun thing but i get by. it has seemed to get stronger and stronger everyday, or maybe that is just cause i am thinging about it more which is just as strong of a possibility.
but today was different.
to start it off, i recieved an unexpected phonecall from my friend nate keller in the middle of a fantastic movie called the boondock saints (it wasn't the cleanest movie at all, but there were so many interesting things about it that intrigued me). we talked about our summers, our lives, and the 15 days of spiritual splendor that we will be spending together soon before he is off to experience one of the most amazing things in his life in jerusalem. i will miss this man, but i will very much enjoy the stories that will make its way back to me from the holy land. after spending the afternoon here at the house, i motivated myself to go home and have some dinner with the family. it was a nice homecooked meal, not one of those fancy deals but something that you really come to love even though it isn't the greatest. afterwards, i layed down on the couch and began to watch preminition. it was a crazy movie that was not one of the normal stroylines but in the end, i have come to respect it more because of that reason.
then i drove back to the house which i am sitting for..but before i made it back, my truck suprisingly made its way to the closest starbucks (the second time today for my fix of a venti mocha frappucinno)
with the windows down, i came to realzine what a wonderfully perfect night it was turning out to be due to the people i talked to, the things that i had done, and the temp of my surroundings...it was glorious. because of these combination of events, i decided that it was time to indulge myself a little more with a nightime hot tub/pool/frapp drinking/reading session.
one word comes to my mind at this point of the story

after about an hour of that, i got a call from my friend ben schmanke and we caught up...about our lives, yes our lives.
and then rachael told me she got her macbook and we talked about it for a while
in essence, i was blessed with the knowledge of many things today.
- the great friends that i have who take time out of their days to just talk and all
- the beauty of God's creation
- the ambition that i must continue to strive towards
- the movie the boondock saints is wicked sweet (also cause it is set in boston, a city which i love)
- the love of my friend that i hold
- the love of coffee that i hold (especially venti mocha frappuchinos at the moment...maybe venti raspberry java chip frappuchinos soon)
- the desire to change the world myself and not just think that God will change it for me
- ...and this line is for anything that i may have not come to realize yet from the experiences today...

| i am kinda getting excited for my new macbook pro to come in the mail!!! SAWWWWEEEEEETTTTTT!!
this is my next summer update. it is short due to the fact of repetition and a slowness that has come with the summers heat.
the fourth of july, also known as independance day, was fun though! well i celebrated it the day before but the fireworks were incerdible (i will be posting pics soon)(maybe)

| i love this summer so far, even though things have not gone according to plan, and even though it has been extremely tough at times, i have loved it
i have gone to the ocean three times already...i have gotten burned real bad once...which means i will be tan for the rest of the year.
i was able to watch not only the UEFA Championship in HD...but i was also able to watch the Men's D1 NCAA Lacrosse Semifinals in HD as well...and doing this have made me miss playing both sports sooo incredibly much. I am in love with them and they are some of the best things that have ever happened to me.
I have been able to hang out with a lot of sweet friends and i have a great time with all of them...
I have been able to come across some more great music...young love, jamiroquai, amy winehouse, deas vail, the dear hunter, and others while older bands have continued to inspire me like radiohead, coldplay, mew, zero 7, thievery corporation, sufjan stevens, mutemath, damien rice, jack johnson, and john mayer.
i haven't written in here in a little while so i figured i would come in and just give a quick update on what is going on in my life...
i will be writing more in depth soon, i have been reading a lot as well which has stimulated much thought and things that i would like to just write down and sort out....

| I love soccer...definitely watching MLS soccer right now...(red bull vs. real salt lake)...in HD. I mean I know that it is no Premiere League or UEFA Champions League...but it is still amazing and I am soo in love. I wish I lived in a country that appreciated it more but its all good.
